The 16PF5 is one of the most widely used personality assessment tools in the UK and is used in recruitment, selection and personal development. It has over 50 years of research and application behind it. The 16PF5 has become internationally well known and respected, with over 20 translated versions.
The 16PF5 looks at 16 traits of personality (traits such as dominance, liveliness, rule consciousness, perfectionism and openness to change). It provides information as to how individuals compare to a sample of the general population in terms of these behaviours and can help organisations to understand people's styles and to reduce the risk of offering a role to someone whose style does not fit the demands of the role.
