Presentation Skills Programme

The Urquhart Partnership has announced the first dates for its new combined Presentation Skills programme which brings together the 3 strands of e-learning, classroom-based training and coaching. Giving delegates the triple benefits of ongoing support, one to one attention and valuable practice and experience, the programmes will offer new and experienced presenters the opportunity to become confident, effective and comfortable presenters via a unique combination of delivery methods.

Firstly, delegates will be able to access The Urquhart Partnerships popular ‘Delivering Excellent Presentations’ e-learning module, which uses a mix of interactive audio and visual content to guide you through the basics of constructing and preparing for a presentation. Each delegate will have access to the module for a period of one year and will therefore be able to review and undertake any part of the module as they approach each different presenting opportunity.

Following on from this will be a one day ‘Presentation Skills’ workshop held in central Manchester. Covering a variety of important elements in delivering effective presentations, the workshop will give delegates the opportunity to practise and hone their individual presenting style and gain feedback on their performance as presenters. The workshops will be facilitated and delivered by experienced presenters and will support the delivery of excellent presentations in a number of scenarios – including training, selling and information sharing.

Finally, delegates will be able to undertake a one hour one to one coaching session, at any point up to 12 months from the workshop. Whether this is before their first presentation or when they feel they want to ‘take it to the next level’ the session will be specific for their needs and gives them the opportunity to check back on any areas covered in the workshop or any experiences they have gained in presenting. The first workshop will take place on Feb 25th with delegates able to access the e-learning module from Jan 11th onwards.
