The Urquhart Partnership has been selected by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) to deliver one-to-one mentoring in an exciting Mentoring Programme in Greater Manchester, as part of a wider network across the Northwest. The Mentoring Programme gives leaders and senior managers a priceless opportunity to work with a dedicated mentor who will develop their leadership and management potential to help them grow their business. 

Mentoring gives leaders and senior managers the chance to reflect on their own personal and business performance.  It provides the motivation to build on business success by nurturing strategies that will enable leaders and senior managers to become more innovative and entrepreneurial and therefore enable their business to become more competitive.

The Urquhart Partnership is a UK based, independently owned consultancy business, with offices in Manchester and Aberdeen. We help our clients to source, manage and develop their people by providing core services including; human resources, training and recruitment. We have many years experience of delivering and managing Mentoring programmes in a variety of locations and sectors.  We pride ourselves on delivering personal and tailored services for each client and have what we think is a unique ‘culture’ in the business and aim to offer our team a great place to work, as well as interesting and challenging work to do.

We are supporting the Mentoring Programme in the Greater Manchester region specialising in the sectors of business and professional services, digital and creative media, organisations in ethnic minority communities and women owned businesses. Our mentors are highly experienced in business and will offer first class mentoring within a wide range of topics and sectors.

The Urquhart Partnership offers access to a wide range of quality assured mentors who will work to a quality framework accredited by the International Standards for Mentoring Programmes in Employment (ISPME). 

We will provide clients (recipients of Mentoring) with a shortlist of suitable mentors to choose from.  Mentors will be carefully selected based on their personality, skills and experience.

All of The Urquhart Partnership mentors are selected for their experience and expertise across a range of sectors and specialism’s.  Our mentors regularly meet, to network and further enhance their mentoring skills.  We are experienced in matching mentors and clients to ensure relationships deliver real benefits to both parties.

The Mentoring Programme will enable clients to set the goals and both the client and  mentor to set the objectives of their relationship.  Clients dictate the tone and the pace.  Typically a relationship will last between 6-12 months and take place in an informal setting away from the workplace.
