MMU Business School and Urquhart Partnership to run joint

Management Development Programmes

Manchester Metropolitan University Business School and the Urquhart Partnership have today confirmed a series of one day Management Development Programmes aimed at equipping owners and managers from SME organisations with the skills and strategies required to succeed in business.

The first session, called ‘Successful recruiting for non-HR people’ will focus on the skills required to recruit ideal people into a business in an efficient, professional manner and will be delivered in Manchester City Centre on Tuesday 18th May. Aimed at owners, directors and managers who get directly involved in recruitment projects, the session will cover topics such as interview skills, creating job descriptions and person specifications, the law in recruitment and how to market a role.

The programme will include a variety of people management modules and will feature practical solutions for managers dealing with a range of people related challenges and issues.
