Commercial Operations
Commercial Operations look after TEPUK's hydrocarbon revenue, managing all contractual aspects of product sales (oil and Natural Gas Liquids). They run the commercial allocation of hydrocarbon products as well as representing the Company's interests in relationships with regulatory bodies such as Ofgem and DTI on gas market issues.
In addition, they are responsible for marketing equity capacity in gas pipelines to third parties and have a substantial role in the daily management (nominations, entitlements, etc) of our operated gas systems.
Joint Ventures
The primary roles and responsibilities of the JV Team are:
To provide the first point of external contact for all JV assets.
To provide non technical co-ordination functions across the company for its JV assets.
To be the formal representative of the Company in the JV forum.
To ensure contract compliance with the JV agreements.
To secure JV approval of work programmes, budgets, etc for the operated assets.
TEPUK accountability for the non-operated fields and non-producing licences.
To contribute to enhancing the value of the Company's interests in its joint venture assets.
New Business
The New Business group mandate is to provide a focused commercial team dedicated to the pursuit of business development opportunities relating to all aspects of the company’s activities.
The team champions the implementation of an integrated ‘growth’ strategy encompassing equity exploration acreage, undeveloped discoveries, new reserves projects, portfolio optimisation, acquisitions and disposals and infrastructure access.
The New Business team is also responsible for finalising and delivery of already identified business opportunities related to existing assets.
Strategy & Economics
The primary roles and responsibilities of the Strategy & Economics Team are:
To supply timely and accurate economic support for other business units.
To ensure that the subsidiary complies with corporate requirements for the Long Term Plan, annual budget cycle, FAS analysis and sanction of dossiers.
To implement and ensure the follow up of the company's Performance Management System.
To supply evaluation of the company's strategic position in the UKCS market place.
Development Studies and Planning
To perform all Company development studies including preliminary, conceptual and pre-project level studies, for which derogation has been granted by DGEP, in support of future Company investment decisions (development, decommissioning, acquisition, sale, exploration...)
To perform the centralised planning function of the Company and manage it’s long term (18 months +) planning of activities, including provision of technical data (Capex, Opex and Decommissioning expenditures and Production Profiles) for inclusion in the Corporate Long Term Plan.
The principal "Clients" of Development Studies & Planning are the Business (Joint-Venture, New Business, Strategy and Economics) and the Operations departments of the Company. Other TOTAL entities, such as TEPNW, may also request services from the Development Studies and Planning group.
