16PF5 Instructions

ACCESSING 16PF5 QUESTIONNAIRE (ONLINE)

Prior to completing the test online we need to know:

• Your Name
• Your Date of Birth
• If you are Male or Female
• Your Nationality
• A day time contact telephone number

Once we receive this information, we can set up the online test for you to complete in your own time. Click here to e-mail us this information.

SET UP INSTRUCTIONS:

• Enter 16PF website – http://www.16PFworld.com 
• “To take a test” appears in the centre of page along with User Name and Password fields
• Enter the User Name and Password that you have been provided with (please note this is case sensitive)
• Click continue
• Click next (if option appears)
• Enter forename and surname if required
• Do not enter an ID Number
• Click next
• Enter sex if required
• Click next
• Enter age
• Click continue

COMPLETING THE 16PF5 QUESTIONNAIRE

You should allow approximately 40 – 45 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

Take time to read instructions, clicking or typing as indicated/preferred.  At the end of instructions pages there will be an option to repeat instructions or continue to the next section.  On continuing to next section, you will be asked to answer two example questions.

You will then see a screen with guidelines (detailed below) for completing the questionnaire:

1. Please read each statement and choose the one that best describes you.  There are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ answers; just answer what is true for you.

2. Don’t spend too much time thinking over any one question.  Give the first, natural answer as it comes to you.

3. Try to mark the a or c answer.  Note that the middle answer is a question mark, ?.  Mark this answer only when neither a nor c is best for you.

4. Remember if you want to change an answer, you can change only the previous question.  Try to be sure you’ve chosen the answer that best describes you before moving on.

5. Answer candidly.  It is important that you are as careful and honest as you can be and give answers that describe you best.  Do not give an answer because it seems like the right thing to say or because it is what you might like to be.

‘Please ask now if something is not clear’ will next appear on screen.

If you do not have any questions you can continue by completing questions 1 – 170.

You will then come to the last section which begins with the following guidelines:

The questions that follow overleaf were designed as problem solving tasks.  Each has one and only one correct answer.  If you are not sure of an answer to a problem, choose your best estimate.

On continuing, you will be asked to answer one example question.

Complete questions 171 – 185

On completion of questionnaire the following will appear on screen: You have completed the test, please press the ‘Enter’ key to exit

Press Enter to exit out.
